Alaska Float Trip Rivers
Below are links to web pages about some
of the rivers we operate float trips on
here in Alaska. This is not a complete
list and we will be adding more as time
permits, these pages will all open in a
new window. You might also want to visit our Alaska fishing main web site at this
link.
Moraine Creek
Flowing 15 miles from Spectacle Lake to Kukaklek Lake and located
in Katmai National Preserve, Moraine Creek is perhaps the premier
trophy rainbow trout fishery in Alaska for "really big" rainbows. We are
talking about fish in the eight to twelve plus pound class.
Alagnak River
Located 290 miles southwest of Anchorage, AK, the Alagnak River traverses the beautiful Alaska Peninsula, flowing about seventy miles from it's twin sources of Kukaklek & Nonvianuk Lakes into the Kvichak River then Bristol Bay. The Alagnak's extraordinary rainbow trout, char, grayling, and abundant salmon have helped it become a world class fishing destination. This is one of our Top Lodge Quality Float Trips and an excellent value!
Togiak River
The Togiak River flows 60 miles from Togiak lake to Togiak Bay and along it's entire length you will find it filled with exceptional fishing, for pacific salmon, resident rainbow trout, arctic char and grayling all while you are surrounded by breathtaking scenery. Come experience Alaska's Togiak River and the camaraderie of a wilderness Alaska fishing float trip that is second to none.
Koktuli River
The Koktuli River is one of the headwaters of the Nushagak River drainage. From its humble beginnings in the tundra covered foothills to the cottonwood and spruce forested lowlands where it joins the Mulchatna River, the Koktuli winds for some 50 miles as it transforms from a narrow, shallow high country "crick" to a wider, deeper true Alaskan River.
Stuyahok River
The Stu as it is affectionately called is also in the upper Nushagak River drainage, similar in may respects to the Koktuli to the East, the Stuyahok drains the highlands west of Iliamna lake and provides important spawning habitat for Chinook, Sockeye, and Coho salmon. Stuyahok River Float TripThe Stuyahok River is relatively short in length but our week long float trip allows you more then ample opportunity to wade these archetypal trout waters and fish for resident species which includes a dense population of 15 to 21 inch Rainbow Trout with specimens to 24", innumerable Arctic Grayling, and Dolly Varden.
